As 2011 moves to 2012...

2011 turned out to be a real roller-coaster of a year, with challenges at both home and work- but as a family member and business-owner I rose to them all, finding strengths I didn't realise I had and loving friends in unexpected places.

I am starting 2012 with fresh hope, and a determination to make this year another success! All Seeing Eye continues to go from strength to strength, and I am deeply thankful to all those who have contributed and supported along the way.

I have been honoured to photograph so many wonderful people and projects over the last 12 months that I am truly excited at the prospect of what's to come!

Simply Minx!

Hereford's first Bridal Boutique, White Minx, are very proud to launch their own label:

The essence of the collection is beautifully-constructed, lightweight dresses, perfect for the summer wedding and the price-conscious bride.

To create the right look for this year’s shoot (yes, there will be more!), they asked some of the best wedding services that Herefordshire has to offer to take part in a fabulous, full-day shoot at Burton Court- including li'l ole me, All Seeing Eye! Our beautiful girls (Charlie, Orchid and Leanne) were beautified with glorious make-up by Doreen of Le Glow, and stunning hair designs by Angie of Bridal Beauty. Suits for gorgeous George were supplied by Bill Child, and fabulous flowers from The Hibiscus Room provided the finishing touches.

What a team! And though I do say so myself, the results were divine!

Herefordshire is very much at the top of it's game when it comes to high-quality wedding services, and your Big Day deserves the very best- but I shall let the pictures do the talking...

Getting dirty with Steve Gerrard...

...no, not THAT kind of dirty!!!  Lying-on-the-gritty-grubby-ground-of-Digbeth-getting-some-great-images-kind-of-dirty!

I have just returned form 48 hours of inspiration and re-energising, provided by one of my most favourite photographers, Steve Gerrard. After nearly 20 years as a photographer, and with well over 100 weddings in the bag, it was time to get back in touch with Creative Me, and Steve's fantastic, 2-day workshop did just that!
The following are just a few of the images I created during a 2-hour wander around the edgy streets of Digbeth, Birmingham (please stop washing the (good) graffiti off the walls of Hereford, and leave me something to work with!). Based in the Custard Factory, I am not surprised Steve has managed to be consistently creative- a creativity which he is able to apply wherever he goes. I am now full-to-bursting with fantastic tips, and new technical know-how, and cannot wait to put them all to the test!
Our models were 2 fab folk, Anna and Simon, married in real-life, and wedding clients of Steve's, who braved the howling winds and a barrage of trigger-happy photographers, to make some great images a reality. Thanks so much! (Anna's awesome black wedding gown was supplied by The Couture Company- and I fell seriously in love with a ruby-red gown in their window- I think I may have to go back for another peek!).

Thank you so, so much, Steve- I've made some fabulous images and a bunch of new friends :-) Oh, and I think I may have got my mojo back..

Spring is on it's way!

Hurrah!
Spring is just around the corner, and the buds are appearing on the trees and hedges of sunny (today, at least) Herefordshire. A couple more weeks and this gorgeous county will be too 'chocolate box' for words!

It's all go at All Seeing Eye, with a steady stream of wedding bookings for this AND next year. I shall be attending another wedding show later this month at the Castle House Hotel, Hereford- come along and sample some of the best suppliers this county has to offer...just don't forget to pop by my stand and say "hi". SUNDAY 20TH MARCH, 11am TO 3pm

Commercial projects are leaping out all over the place, and ~I shall be showcasing some of my work as soon as the official launches take place. I'm SO pleased with the results, and cannot wait to get some of the shots on here!

In the mean time, Mother's Day is only a few short weeks away and I've come up with a nifty little promotion: A Mother's Day photo shoot at All Seeing Eye for only £65, including a free 10"x8" print. Anna Jo & The Ugly Bug Ball

It's Friday, and not yet the end of term for my gorgeous little girl. They are, however, having a LOT of fun before breaking up on Tuesday!

Anna had been invited by Madame Butterfly to the Year 1 Ugly Bug Ball and had spent the majority of this week designing and making her bumble bee hat (complete with antennae) and icing ladybird biscuits...and the day was finally here...



...she came home filled to the brim with nectar (orange squash) and beetle juice (blackcurrant) and full of stories about musical bumps and "jelly with worms(!) in".

I love my girl.

And I love her school.

Congratulations on an awesome school report, Boo! You're a star and a budding scientist ;-)

And now it's time to check my kit, polish lenses and charge batteries in preparation for Ali and nick's Big Day tomorrow...

Candice & Karl's Wonderful Wedding

As I prepare for Jane and Lee's wedding tomorrow, taking place at The Priory Hotel, I have just enough time to show a few pictures from Candice and Karl's fabulous day at Clehonger and Lyde Arundel, Herefordshire...

The weather was perfect, the locations idyllic and the happy couple just plain fabulous! It was a beautiful day spent with lovely people- I love my job!
